Lin Emery: A Force of Nature | Louisiana Art & Science Museum

Lin Emery holds worldwide acclaim for her kinetic sculptures made of welded and polished aluminum inspired by natural forms. This exhibition traced her stylistic development and feats of engineering using water, magnets, and ultimately wind and examined her artistic influences. On view were 30-plus works ranging in height from 1 to 20 feet, including rarely seen interactive musical sculptures. A small section focused on her creative process from concept and cut-outs to completion.
